A VACANCY EXISTS IN THE PRESS LINE SIMPAC DEPARTMENT AT BERLIN PLANT 4 FOR CRANE DRIVER X1 ON A FIXED TERM CONTRACT

Primary purpose of the job

Reporting to the Team Leader, this position requires the services of an individual to operate and control an overhead crane to transfer heavy objects from one level to another.

Key Performance Areas

Lift, move & place tools at press line

Conduct daily inspections on crane.

Keep tool storage area clean and well organized.

Replace tool covers at storage area.

Place airpins correctly at the draw bolsters by using airpin mats.

Ensure that all bolsters are cleaned (slugs etc.) prior to loading new tooling.

Skills Required

Good eye-hand co-ordination.

Minimum Requirements                                                                                  

NQF level 4 qualification or Grade 12.

Valid Crane License.
