A VACANCY EXISTS IN BERLIN FOR A PLANT MANAGER
Primary purpose of the job
To manage the operation on site by ensuring production targets are achieved
efficiently and effectively within the qualify standards, according to the established
quality and risk system, and according to customer requirements.
Key Performance Areas
Take responsibility for operations planning
Manage plant budgets
Take responsibility for manufacturing activities
Ensure customer requirements and quality standards are met
Ensure health, safety, security and plant maintenance regulations are met
Manage and supervise Department Managers
Set and ensure that operational targets are met
Manage overall resources of the business including people
Knowledge and Skills required
Leadership
Problem solving and decision making
Communication
Manufacturing processes
Understanding of quality systems
Business acumen
Relationship management with the Original Equipment Manufacturers
Minimum Requirements
National Diploma or Degree in Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 10 years’ experience in a management position
Minimum 5 years management in the automotive experience
