Primary purpose of the job
Reporting to the Maintenance Group Leader, this position requires the services of an individual to do maintenance installations on hydraulic / Mechanical presses, Industrial robots, Spot welding guns as well as project installation. Maintenance and Optimization of all vision systems.
Key Performance Areas
Repair and maintain robots to ensure customer and company quality standards are met.
Do fault finding and preventative maintenance as per maintenance schedule and according to job cards and relevant work instruction.
Compile feedback on time sheets to ensure accurate repair data.
Ensure that company procedures, works instructions and quality systems are adhered to at all times.
Participate actively in the departmental M2S as per company requirement.
Ensure that work practises comply with the company SHEQ procedures and works instructions.
Repair, maintain and optimize all vision systems for press shops and Assembly.

Minimum Requirements
NQF Educational level N6/ Diploma/Degree
Educational qualification: Qualified Electrician/ Millwright/ Mechatronics/Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a millwright in the electrical field within an Automotive environment
Extensive working knowledge of PLC Programming, Siemens S7, TIA, W&R Systems, vision tools and in-sight.
